In the land of women…

Funny title, that movie.  Funny that I liked it too.  Though I’ve never actually kissed a mother and a daughter in the same week, I think it’s strangely sweet and enduring.  That’s all, well for that.

But I had a strange run in with reality today.  You see, my mom has been sick for a few weeks now with some strange stomach pain.  Her and the Doctors haven’t been able to pin point the exact cause either.  Sadly today it got worse, and she called me to tell me that she was going to the E.R.  I didn’t really know what to do with myself after that.  All I could think of was that some horrible thing had taken over my mother’s body and it had intended on taking her away from me.  I sat in a haze for about 5 hours until I got a call from her saying that she was fine and that she had gotten some medicine that would hopefully help her and her tummy out.

All that said…I just realized how much I miss her and how hard everything would be not having her to talk to everyday.  She’s the only one who can say, “Go ahead Brett…I’m listening” and, “yes, everything is going to be okay…”  and it really truly mean anything to my brain.

I just miss her.

So how about this new blog eh??   YEAH!!  Thought it was time to do something grown up with my words…or crazy…not quite sure yet.  Anyway, stick around and you might learn something you never wanted to know.
